Lion Cubs in the Ngorongoro Crater
One afternoon as we were admiring the herds of Wildebeest and Zebra in the Ngorongoro Crater, our driver very quietly said, "Let's go see the lions." When we got there, we found a mother lion lying on a small mound with a kill below. Her 3 lion cubs were in the grass below, learning how to eat meat.
